Terms of service.
Last updated: October 2026. These terms govern your use of the Security Lab at sharmaanmol.info (the “Service”), including any paid “lifetime unlock”. By creating an account or purchasing, you agree to them.

2. The Service
The Security Lab is an educational, defence-oriented cybersecurity practice platform. All exercises run in your browser against simulated evidence; the Service does not attack, scan or connect to any third-party system. The content is provided for learning and is offered “as is”, without warranty that it is error-free or fit for any particular purpose (for example certification or employment outcomes).
3. Accounts
Sign-in is passwordless: we email a one-time link to the address you provide. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure, and for activity under your account. Accounts are personal — do not share, resell or transfer your access. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
4. Price and payment
The lifetime unlock is a one-time payment of €29 (EUR). As a small business under §19 UStG, no VAT is added. It grants access to all current paid rooms and future content for as long as the Service operates. The first room of each learning path is always free, with no account required. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the Service and does not create a perpetual obligation to operate it.
5. Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) — and its waiver
As this is digital content supplied without a physical medium, EU/German law gives consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, at checkout you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate access and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; §356(5) BGB). If you give that consent and your access is unlocked, the 14-day right no longer applies and the purchase is final.
If you do not give that consent, you keep the 14-day withdrawal right, but access remains locked until the period ends or you consent. To withdraw where the right still applies, email [email protected] with your account email and the word “withdrawal”; a clear statement is sufficient.
6. Refunds
Where the withdrawal right still applies (section 5), you receive a full refund to your original payment method. Outside that, because the content is delivered in full immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable — but if something is genuinely wrong (duplicate charge, you could not access what you paid for), email us and we will put it right, at our discretion.
7. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and for learning. Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent it, scrape paid content, or share your account. The skills taught here are defensive; you are responsible for using any knowledge gained only on systems you are authorised to work with.
8. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for the paid Service is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months; nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence, or injury to life or health).
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a revised date; material changes affecting paid users will be notified by email where feasible. German law applies, and the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to, and do not, participate in dispute-resolution before a consumer arbitration board.

Es besteht ein 14-tägiges Widerrufsrecht für digitale Inhalte; bei der Zahlung stimmen Sie ausdrücklich der sofortigen Ausführung zu und bestätigen, dass Sie dadurch Ihr Widerrufsrecht verlieren (§356 Abs. 5 BGB). Ohne diese Zustimmung bleibt der Zugang bis zum Ablauf der Frist gesperrt. Es gilt deutsches Recht; zwingende Verbraucherschutzvorschriften Ihres Wohnsitzes bleiben unberührt.
